Budista-Hinduista : Dayanand Saraswati About this sound pronunciation (12 February 1824 – 30 October 1883) was a Hindu religious leader and founder of the Arya Samaj, a Hindu reform movements of the Vedic tradition. He was also a renowned scholar of the Vedic lore and Sanskrit language. He was the first to give the call for Swaraj as Indian for India in 1876, a call later taken up by Lokmanya Tilak. Denouncing the idolatry and ritualistic worship prevalent in Hinduism at the time, he worked towards reviving Vedic ideologies. Subsequently, the philosopher and President of India, S. Lying there was nothing but a beautiful array of flowers. The word raksha signifies protection, and bandhan is an association signifying an enduring sort of bond; and so, when a woman ties a rakhi around the waist of her brother, she signifies her loving attachment to him. He, likewise, recognizes the special bonds between them, and by extending his wrist forward, he in fact extends the hand of his protection over her.

Las mujeres tejan a rahki , que puede ser bien un tejido lleno de colores, bien una pulsera, bien un hilo decorativo, alrededor de las muñecas de su(s) hermano(s). La palabra raksha significa protección, y bandhan es una asociación que evoca los vínculos entre la gente.Entonces, al tejar una mujer un rakhi alrededor de la muñeca de su hermano, le demuestra su cariño. El, al aceptar el tejido, reconoce estos vínculos especiales entre ambos, lo cual aumenta su protección hacia su hermana.
