Budista-Hinduista : Durante la luna llena del mes de Esala, se celebra la procesión de Kandy Esala Perahera. El festival más impresionante y espectacular de Sri Lanka supone el clímax de 10 días y noches de una permenanente actividad frenética en Kandy. Miles de bailarines, percusionistas y jefes del templo participan en la procesión,con más de 50 elefantes magníficamente decorados en honor del Diente Sagrado de Buda, reliquia del Templo de la Reliquia del Diente. Se celebran a la vez paraheras (procesiones) más pequeñas en otras localidades de la isla.

Budista-Hinduista : Goddess Mahakali is worshiped. Bonalu is an annual festival of Telangana celebrated in Twin Cities Hyderabad, Secunderabad and other parts of Telangana, India. It is celebrated in the month of Ashada Masam, in July/August. Special poojas are performed for Yellamma on the first and last day of the festival. The festival is also considered a thanksgiving to the Goddess for fulfillment of vows.

Budista-Hinduista : The celebration occurs two weeks after the Kharchi Puja to honor Ker, the guardian deity of Vastu Devata. It includes offerings, sacrifices, and a prescribed boundary which both safeguards people from calamities and saves people from external aggression. The puja was initiated by the Tripura rajas. Participation in the puja is required for the Halam tribe. For 2.5 days during the festival, entrances to the capital are closed, and participants, including the reigning sovereign, are not allowed to wear shoes, light a fire, dance, or sing. [Wikipedia]

He drew his lineage from the Syiemlieh clan.He was Syiem (chief)of Nongkhlaw, part of the Khasi Hills. His title was Syiem — a constitutional head sharing corporate authority with his Council, generally representatives of leading clans within his territory. Budista-Hinduista : Teej, Hartalika. On this day Goddess Parvati is worshipped. Women, married and unmarried, mainly of Khas ethnicity, assemble at one place, in their finest attire and start dancing and singing devotional songs. Amidst all this, the grand feast takes place. The jollity often goes on till midnight, after which the 24hour fast starts.

Budista-Hinduista : El festival anual de Raksha Bandhan, para conmemorar los vínculos entre los sexos. Generalmente, tiene lugar a finales de agosto. Las mujeres tejan a rahki , que puede ser bien un tejido lleno de colores, bien una pulsera, bien un hilo decorativo, alrededor de las muñecas de su(s) hermano(s). La palabra raksha significa protección, y bandhan es una asociación que evoca los vínculos entre la gente.Entonces, al tejar una mujer un rakhi alrededor de la muñeca de su hermano, le demuestra su cariño. El, al aceptar el tejido, reconoce estos vínculos especiales entre ambos, lo cual aumenta su protección hacia su hermana.

Budista-Hinduista : The annual festival of Raksha Bandhan, which is meant to commemorate the abiding ties between siblings of opposite sex, usually takes place in late August, and is marked by a very simple ceremony in which a woman ties a rakhi — which may be a colorful thread, a simple bracelet, or a decorative string — around the wrist of her brother(s). The word raksha signifies protection, and bandhan is an association signifying an enduring sort of bond; and so, when a woman ties a rakhi around the waist of her brother, she signifies her loving attachment to him. He, likewise, recognizes the special bonds between them, and by extending his wrist forward, he in fact extends the hand of his protection over her.

Budista-Hinduista : Jhulan Purnima: All devotees wait patiently in a queue to swing Their Lordships. The swing (jhulana) beautified with splendid flower decorations, colorful beads, etc. A special flower rope is used to pull the swing. An arotik is performed after Sri Sri Radha Madhava are seated on the swing, and devotees bring a variety of bhoga to please Their Lordships. Kirtana and bhajans go on for almost two hours, and many visitors join in to pull Their Lordship's swing.

Los que participen en la procesión, final y tiempo fuerte de la fiesta, también preparan sus trajes. Se celebran numerosas ceremonias religiosas. En el décimo día es cuando culmina la fiesta. Las calles de la mayoría de las ciudades, especialmente Mumbaï (Bombay) son el campo de unas extraordinarias demonstaciones populares. Ese día, hay unos idolos de elefantes gigantes con bailarines y músicos.

Budista-Hinduista : During ten days, Hindus must prepare the celebration at home: their house must be cleaned up and purified, in particular at the place where the Ganesh statue wil be put. Those who participate in the procession, end and highlight of this celebration, also prepare their costume. Various religious ceremonies are celebrated. On the tenth day, the celebration culminates. Streets of main cities, especially Mumbaï (Bombay) are the field of extraordinary popular demonstrations. In this day, giant elephant idols are preceded by dancers and musicians.

Budista-Hinduista : Baba Sri Chand (8 September 1494 – 13 January 1629), was the founder of the ascetic sect of Udasi and was the elder son of Guru Nanak, first Guru and founder of Sikhism. He was born to Mata Sulakhani on Bhadra sudi 9, 1551 Bikrami (i.e. 8 September 1494) ਪੁਤ੍ਰੀ ਕਉਲੁ ਨ ਪਾਲਿਓ ਕਰਿ ਪੀਰਹੁ ਕੰਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਮੁਰਟੀਐ॥ His sons did not obey His Word; they turned their backs on Him as Guru. ਦਿਲਿ ਖੋਟੈ ਆਕੀ ਫਿਰਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਿ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਿ ਭਾਰੁ ਉਚਾਇਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਿ ਛਟੀਐ॥ These evil-hearted ones became rebellious; they carry loads of sin on their backs Some organizations, like Gobind Sadan, Damdami Taksal, a few Nihangs, and even a few Jathedars of takhat, admire Sri Chand Ji for his contribution. Sri Chand Ji is said to have composed an Aarta – a poem in name of his father, Nanak. After having differences with many subsequent Sikh gurus, Guru Angad, Guru Amar Das Guru Ram Das and Guru Arjan, however there was reconciliation between Sri Chand and sixth Sikh Guru Guru Hargobind. Budista-Hinduista : Observed by the Jat community on the 10th day of the Shukla Paksha or waxing phase of moon in Bhadrapad month as per traditional Hindu lunar calendar followed in North India, dedicated to a local deity named Tejaji. The popular belief is that Tejaji used to rescue people from snake bites. He is worshipped by people to escape from deadly snake bites. People also pray to the deity for the speedy recovery of people who had been bitten by poisonous snakes. Fairs are held in temple towns that have temples dedicated to Tejaji.
